Being musical director for this show has been a blast, enabling me to dabble in a huge range of styles. There is almost an hour of music from classical, gypsy, cabaret, pop, retro and electronica; not to mention the creation of sound effects. The theme song (above) is particularly fun, combining classical, circus (is this a genre?) and electronica. It started life purely as a piece of contemporary classical music which I became frustrated with, so I reconstructed it in my drum machine with an overzealous use of thumping drums.

I like better now.

I love the music sample. Especially the type-writer sound. Is it your work? Sounds like it is.

I like the quirkiness of this piece.

The typewriter sound is me tapping an old sign by the railway.

Yup, I did this piece for the show. I wanted to combine electronica with a theatre feel.

Pick of the bunch (for the mood i'm in today...ie/ slightly hang over and looking down the barrell of another late night...) so far.

It's odd, yet it works. I like subtle "eastern" (ie/ Middle Eastern) feel (although that may not be what you had in mind).
