A New View

My blogging activity has slowed somewhat while I have been shifting house and re-establishing my life (and Internet connection). As I moved house a new view opened up. Well in any case, the day before I moved into my new abode, neighbours had removed some very large trees from their yard, and a sweeping view emerged (I try to feel bad about the trees). It's a wonderful house from the 1930's I think, with art deco features. I share with Helen who has been very easy and enjoyable to live with.

As you might expect on this blog, the view inspired some piano music. Especially since a smokey atmosphere was tinging the sun Auburn. So I took some quick snaps and sat down and let some piano music emerge. Eventually I got around to making the recording below. You can click on the play symbol or download the file to your computer.

I do belive, the natural response to increasing ambiance in one's location, is to invite the Chelon Rose around for drinks.

That'll fix the problem nicely :-)

O, will d'load the song and hopefully have a witty response soon. In the meantime, as Taqqat would say "Every man for himself...!!!" :-0

I've put auburn on repeat, and so, it has drifted into the background of my consciousnes, so, you'll have to wait in th e morning, when i hear it, in the fore. a thorough analysis churned by a billion neural networks over 8 hours, what more can you ask?

Yes... perhaps one day soon my house-mate will be ready for the sophistication of a night with the Chelon Rose... yes perhaps...

Glad you gave it a close listen Bec. A little more thought did go into it then at first it may appear. But in essence it is a simple tune.

Art Decor/Art Deco?

Well with 8 hours on repeat I will expect that you can recite the entire piece backward.

not on repeat 8 hours ...Actually, it got lost to some serbian folk vocalist that rudely interrupted for 5 seconds only 5 seconds, the power of 'voice' once again demonstrated. consequently it never surfaced in the morning, for analysis within the waking state of Consciousness, oh well...

So,

from the 49 second down count, it becomes melancholic a little, as if a shower or tears, and then something wiser more gentler evolves and better for it ... it seems

"sophistication of a night with the Chelon Rose.."

Chelon Rose and sophistication in the same sentence?!? What's the world coming too.

Wayne i reckon that clothesline might have some music in it next time we get windy. If its anything like mine it creaks and whistles to those that stop to listen.

Good tip Ben, will keep my ears out for that. Love wind noises.

Smooth and melodic. Reminds me of RdO standing by the shores of Jewel Lake watching his love, Melony, ride off for a final time...
